I am educated as biochemist, holding a PhD from Ghent University, and remain active in drug development. My journey has taken me through research institutions like Ghent University, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard. Over the years, I’ve worked across translational immunology and drug development, mentoring up-and-coming researchers and helping make complex health topics more accessible to the public. These days, I am busy discovering & developing antibody drug candidates at argenx.
Outside the lab, you’ll find me on a volleyball court or hiking trail, especially when the air turns crisp and the leaves start to change. Fall is my favorite season—Halloween vibes, golden foliage, and the irresistible scent of pumpkin cake fresh from the oven. Here to share, teach, and spark curiosity. Because knowledge empowers.
