I am a dedicated immunologist, drug developer, and science communicator with a passion for human health. I specialize in clinical immunology, immunotherapy, and antibody biology, with expertise in inflammation, viral infections, and autoimmunity. Throughout my career, I contributed to translational science and drug development, mentoring future scientists and educating the public on disease prevention.
I earned a Doctor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Ghent University, Belgium, and hold a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Poznań University of Life Sciences, Poland. I have held various scientific and clinical positions, where I lead efforts in drug development, clinical and translational research. My expertise extends to roles in scientific research, mentoring, and teaching, with past appointments at Ghent University and the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard and current role of Principal Scientist at argenx.
