TEAM

Joining forces and passions for science, immunology and technology, we aim to develop educational virtual reality platforms to bring the world of immunology closer to you as a progressive, immersive experience.

Our first prototype of such 3D experience, Immunoverse 1.0, is available on Spatial. We hope to develop this project further and expand it to help you and others to understand fascinating world of immunology in an easy and enriching format. Stay tuned and get ready to be awed by how your immune system works!

MAGDALENA SIPS

IMMUNOLOGIST

I am passionate about all aspects of immunology and particularly interested in the effect of viral infections on onset of immunological disorders; epidemiologic patterns of immune disorders and development of immunotherapies.

I gained research immunology experience at really amazing places around the world. I also met there some of the most inspiring people. Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard has a special place in my heart. Ghent University provided me with invaluable lessons how to perform research, and time in biotech industry showed me how to make medicines from science discoveries. <3

My favorite immune cell is neutrophil and my favorite immune molecule is an antibody! :)

Here on a mission of education. Because knowledge empowers.

HUBERT PAKUŁA

TUMOR BIOLOGIST

Dr. Hubert Pakula is an Assistant Professor of Research in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine since 2024. His academic journey includes earning a Master of Science in 2007 from Poznan University of Life Sciences in Poland, followed by a Ph.D. from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany, in 2015. Dr. Pakula has completed extensive postdoctoral training, beginning with positions at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute associated with Harvard Medical School from 2015 to 2019. He then served as a Research Associate in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine until 2024.

Dr. Pakula's research focuses on the tumor microenvironment, particularly the bi-directional communication between Cancer-Associated Fibroblasts and epithelial tumors. His work aims to unravel the complex interactions that facilitate tumor progression and resistance, contributing valuable insights to the field of molecular biology and oncology.

ANITA WIELGOSZ

At New Daring World I design custom virtual environments for brands and communities to boost their user engagement.

Passionate about exploring how Web3 and the metaverse(s) will transform social, health, and educational domains. I use tools like Meta Quest and software such as Gravity Sketch, Blender, Unity, Midjourney, DALLE-3 to design and prototype concept art for virtual worlds that are engaging, meaningful, and inspiring.

I am also a content creator who aims to promote a positive and hopeful vision of the future, as I believe that LIFE FOLLOWS ART.

As a mother and a woman in the VR / XR industry, I am driven by a sense of purpose and responsibility to shape the future future generations will live in.

I have over 10 years of experience in user interface design, visual storytelling, and product development. I am also certified by MITx in educational technology design, which allows me to apply learning principles and pedagogical strategies to my VR / XR projects.
